I'm a pretty laid back guy who likes to find enjoyment in simple things in life. I teach High School Physics at two schools (day and afternoon) and absolutely love it. I accidentally fell in to teaching and couldn't be happier at the career choice I made.


Music is a big part of each day for me. I listen to music a lot (and recently discovered pandora radio which is fueling the addiction), and play music a lot. I'm a guitarist and recently am re-learning to play the piano. I love so many types of music, but my favorites are indie/alternative and classic rock. Lately I can't stop listening to Bon Iver, Two Tongues, Elvis Costello and the Talking Heads. If I listed as many artists as I might want to, you might stop reading so I'm stopping there.

I love to watch and play sports as well and miss being a college athlete (albeit division 3). I live alone in Islip, unless you count my dog, in a five bedroom house. I rent the downstairs to my sister now and I love having her here.

On a first date I like to do some activity that allows a lot of talking so I can get to know the girl I'm with. Dinner is a classic, but if the weather is nice I like to take a walk through a town I've never been to and create a date as the night goes on, I love a spontaneous date like that. Being able to talk is the most important part of the date though, if you can't sit and have a talk with someone, there probably isn't much of a future between you so I like to find that out right away.
