This is me. I am confident, honest (almost too blunt-hey, I'm from NY, I can't help it!)intelligent, easy going, independent and free spirited, yet responsible. If you want to hang with me, you must possess the same as above, in addition to having a kind and gentle heart-especially with children and animals. There must also be a balance between the above qualities with seriousness, self introspect, and academia. You need to have a great sense of humor, because I am always joking and teasing. You must also love to be active and fit, working out, hiking, biking, camping, etc because I'm not a type of person to veg on the couch and watch tv for two days in a row. Also, if you can put up with me waking up one day -out of the blue- saying, "Let's go to Alaska and climb the glaciers. Or let's go to Africa and trek in the wild jungles..." and sharing my sentiments and actually doing it, I think you and I may be a perfect match. I believe adventures awaken the soul. At this moment, I am not looking for anything serious, but to expand my horizons and have some fun meeting new people. Who knows, if the right one comes along and blows my mind, I'd be open to it. By the way, if my separated status is a concern, the divorce papers have been filed and will be finalized on February 2nd. Fortunately, there is absolutely no drama and is extremely amicable.

A first date would be fun and casual. I would love to do something outdoors or something wild like bungee jumping (although that would scare the hell out of me!). I am open to anything fun and not so focused on pressure to be physical. Just would like to feel comfortable being with each other and establishing a connection through furthering a friendship. All relationships should start off as friends, and that is most likely what I would be aiming for.
