I am an artist, and chef by trade, currently working in exploration camps in the North. I have a passion for books, especially non-fiction; gardening; wilderness; walking; wild mushrooms; the ocean; boats; fishing; wandering around the world, sleeping under the stars. I paint, weave, spin wool and dye with plants, and do many other arts, as well as teaching. I have two grown kids who are the lights of my life. Just moved back to the coast after being up in the mountains for a spell, bought a boat a while back, its an on-going project. Favorite haunts, besides the wild places, are bookstores, libraries, second-hand stores, garage sales, galleries, and cyber-space. I am a happy, curious and thoughtful person, able to handle both abundance and adversity with reasonable panache. I enjoy being single and am not seeking any relationship in particular but am not closing any doors either (I am perfectly willing to be struck by lightening) I am an articulate, caring, respectful and interesting companion. In you I value qualities of kindness, humour, creativity, a sense of adventure, a passion for life, and all that you value in yourself.
