Hello Everyone ,

I'm here because in todays society it seems impossible to meet someone face to face , everyone seems to think this site is great so I'll give it a try. I put looking for long term but let's be honest...without dating and going through the that process, you will never meet the right person. I'm willing to wait it out for the right person . I'm not looking for someone to look after me or the other way around. I'm looking for someone to share life's experiences with , to be equals and to enjoy each others company. I'm not like most guys I know or have ever met , I'm honest , loyal , trustworthy and believe in these morals as they have served me well through my life.

I enjoy participating in a variety of activities such as golf , billards , cooking , camping and probably too many more to list . I'm told I have a great sence of humor though others say its slightly twisted and sarcastic at times. Lifes too short to always be serious , I would rather live life laughing....makes others wonder why your so happy. They'll figure it out ..... maybe.

I'm a very active father in the upbringing of my two boys. I have split custody and they live with me for a week at a time every other week. I have been seperated for about five years , though their mother and I chose different paths in our lives we are both very committed to the proper raising of our children. It's our job as parents to teach them right from wrong and to instill morals and values. That being said , I'm not looking for a step mom for them . They have a mom , I'm looking for someone who will enjoy spending time with me as much as I enjoy spending time with her.

I also think in todays "dating world" that women are taking more of an initative to either speak to a man first or even ask them out on a date. I applaude you ladies , it takes courage for either sex to make that first step. Therefore I will answer all messages with respect and honesty and only ask that the same be returned. If at the very least , this site should give us the opportunity to meet some great people and even gain some greater friendships. Happy fishing to all.
