Hi, Thanks for reading my profile. I work in education, have a science background, and am an artist who is positive and passionate about life. I have lived a yogic life and have been vegetarian for over twenty years. I have been to India, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Europe...next stop Argentina? I dance Tango, Swing, and Zydeco. I am also into drumming and sing in a choir. I am active, work out, hike, bike, and XC ski. I am both a nature girl and a city girl (love to wear heels and skirts...). I have an interesting past in the healing arts, yoga, and environmental and political activism.... but now I prefer to make art and music for planetary healing (or vibrational shifting). I seek a friend who hopefully will one day become my life partner.

I would consider relocating in a few years (when my daughter goes off to college) for the right person, or perhaps you would be inspired to move here. Ithaca is special and exceptionally beautiful with dozens of waterfalls. I hope you are intelligent, honest, and a good communicator. I also hope you take good care of your body, your mind, and that you have a strong spiritual practice (in other words, a practice that nurtures a good heart, sustains emotional responsibility, and disciplines your ability to be self-aware and present). I see a lot of good men out there in POF, but no one has "clicked" for me yet. I need a strong man who knows himself in order for me to respect you.... Am I being too picky? Probably....so you'll have to capture my attention or hit me over the head with your caveman club.

Lastly, I am a Taurus and very true to my sign. I have never paid attention to zodiac compatibility until recently. I have been in relationships with Leo, Sagittarius, Aries, and Libra, and these relationships did not work. I am interested in dating Cancer, Pisces, Virgo, and Capricorn men. Scorpio might work too if you are "tolerant and intelligent" so say the astrologists. But then, I have friends who have been married 35 years and are zodiac "incompatible" but are happy. Go figure!
