Looking for good humour, an interest in some outdoor activities, a big smile and friendship. (always important!) I'd like to meet someone with a career in place, someone who is grounded and independent. Someone who has their own circle of friends and doesn't need a boyfriend every waking hour. I want a travel companion to learn to sail with then navigate the Bahamas one winter. Someone to enjoy fine wines on a deck at an obscure, Chilean bodega. Someone at least wanting to go to Lund or Port Alice or Winter Harbour just to see what's new and enjoy the adventure getting to there. (OK, may be a little may be a little much...)
I play a lot of sports and enjoy my time off. I ski. I swim. I play ball. I play rugby on weekends and walk with a limp during the week. I've been known to navigate gracefully through the kitchen, creating some delicious entrees and appys. I have a taste for wine, port and scotch whisky in small drams.
On weekends in the summer, you'll find me at the lake or off Hornby Island. At the music festivals and farmer's markets. I enjoy camping but haven't done much lately due to the company I've kept in the past. I own a sea kayak and like to trip in obscure places. If you're really feel adventurous, I'm an excellent guide. I am no daredevil! I will not feed you to the bears.
Come winter, I'm a little less adventurous, skiing, curling, rugby and squash. Bikrum yoga is a little hot for me. I prefer a little less heat and a little more relaxation.
As I said, I travel and enjoy a big trip every couple of years. You really appreciate this place when you go away from here for a while...
November is coming and to support prostate cancer I, like a lot of men will be growing a mustache! (Movember) Hideous as it sounds, it's only temporary and for a good cause. I can understand if you won't be seen in public with me, but the month will go quick and the emails and phone calls can turn to face time. So funny.
