Hi, my name is Sharon. My friends call me Kitten, or Ross.

I am an artist, in absolutely every sense of the word.

It's trite to say "I Love Music," because who doesn't? I live and breathe music. I research artists I'm enraptured by and wrap my ears around anything remotely listenable. Among my favorite artists are: Nirvana, The Doors, Pink Floyd, The Smashing Pumpkins, Velvet Underground, Djali Zwan, Fall Out Boy, The Beatles, Sublime, Meat Loaf, Donovan, The Medic Droid, Jefferson Airplane, Buffalo Springfield, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Billie Holiday, Jane's Addiction, The Violent Femmes, Tears For Fears, Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, Buddy Holly, and Blind Melon... Just to name a FEW.


I'm an aspiring illustrator, musician, and writer, a paradigm of oddness, and always searching for that new EXPERIENCE. It's all about the color, and the sound, and the way the wind feels, and the wonders surrounding us on this magnificent planet.

I'm an information junkie, and am always researching some new obsession or sociopolitical angle that has grabbed my attention.

I love many, many films, including Young Frankenstein, A Clockwork Orange, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Spun, Requiem For a Dream, Clerks, Brokeback Mountain, The Dark Knight, An American Werewolf in London, Moulin Rouge!, The Man With The Golden Arm, Trainspotting, Dazed and Confused, RENT, The Wizard of Oz, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Super Troopers, The Producers (both the 1968 version and the 2005 musical), and Harold and Maude.

My heroes include Hunter S. Thompson, Gene Wilder, Kurt Cobain, Ken Kesey, Jim Morrison, Mitch Hedberg, and Friederich Nietzche.

I'm often described as being "funny," as in "humorous." Not that I spend my time telling long-winded jokes, I'm more of an observational comedienne - and one sarcastic woman, truth be told. But one can expect a lot of laughs (or at least a smile) when spending time with me. Unless all my friends are really, really easy to crack up. Then I'm kind of screwed on that angle.

Basically what I'm looking for here is a chance. I'm not very good at meeting new people when I'm not forced into a social setting such as school, and I figure, what the hell. Might as well try it on here.

I think it's best not to plan such things, but rather wing it and see where the night (or day) takes you. Plans are easily thrown into upheaval, so it's best to just set a vague guideline and do whatever. Something that allows you to get to know the person as well as have fun is a plus. Movies are kind of a no go since you can't really chat there, though a movie after something else could be cool.
