I am currently in a doctorate program that consumes a lot of my time, but I'm excellent at making time for that special person in my life. I am anything but desperate, and I initially set up a profile for entertainment with no thought that anything meaningful would come of it. I have made a couple of good friends that I appreciate dearly. However, I'm truly looking for a very like-minded person, that I can possibly spend a lifetime getting to know. I'm an intelligent, attractive, talented, independent woman that can have fun in virtually any environment . . . . and yes I have fantastic legs. I am a die hard and very adventurous so those of you unqualified NEED NOT apply (lol). I'm very easy to get along with (you have to put serious effort in to piss me off) and keep my true friends forever. I'm looking for a man that is similar to me; Is secure with himself and his partner, passionate and not selfish on an intimate level, trust his partner, and maintains a personal confidence (I have NO time for the jealous type). I'm a very committed, open and faithful partner when mutual feelings go in that direction, and this is the kind of man that I seek. There is much to know about me but, I think up close and personal is the real deal.

My two girls live with me 50% of the time and are a major determining factor in any potential future I would have with a man. I'm capable of being the best, loving step-parent possible, and seek the same in return. Though this is an issue that would obviously be dealt with after a period of time together, I know that you already know whether or not you fit the bill. My girls are well behaved, and not the nightmare children I have personally encountered in todays society. If you are not certain that you could care for the children of the one that you "supposedly" love, then do us both a favor and pass me by.

One more thing guys.........I know the whole thought of "You never know til you try". And yes, I use it often myself, but I can say with all honesty, if you are not one that women approach, or desire because you are just simply attractive, don't bother tryin here. For those of you that have read this far I have a confession to make.............
I have used this meeting site as a form of research! My profile has been of complete honesty (meaning true pics and details), and I'm not the one to say that your "True" significant other cannot be found on such a site. However, I must say that this is not the scene for everyone. I for one, do not have a problem meeting men or being asked out. Unfortunately, on this site I have been STOOD UP more than I have in a lifetime. I'm still writing the book, but at this point would love honest responses from men that can elaborate on the reason for using this site for companionship.

My idea of dating is very casual. . . . an atmosphere that is comfortable to both of us. Being my current methods are sight unseen, I prefer to do a meet and greet for 1-2 hours just to see how things go. I am open to suggestions though. If things go well, we can look at the adventurous journey (sky diving maybe) for a future plan.
