My hobbies are working out, attending lectures and forums regarding public issues, and fixing up an old farm house I just moved into. I like my work but I would love to become financially independant ASAP in order to pursue other goals such as getting more involved in the community. I guess I am similar to other good men in most ways. My friends and family say that I am unique but I am sure most men are told that by their friends and family. My friends say that I am a little goofy for a serious man or perhaps they say a little serious for a goofy man? They have noted that the combination of interests I have are not ususally found together.
I have had a variety of experiences that have given me the ability to be comfortable around anyone in just about any situation or environment. I like to think that superficiality has very little influence on me and that I respond and look for the simple fundamentals in the world but I still beleive that the world's beauty should never be ignored. I enjoy music but I find it hard to describe why I like what I like.
Eventually, I would love to share a home with someone who enjoys the company of family and friends.

I like simple first dates. A good restuarant is a nice place to talk and maybe a walk afterwoods. Going all out can begin on the second date.
