i'm lighthearted, never try to take things too seriously, including relationships. but into reading (gogol, nabokov, marquez, etc....hardly ever non-fiction). very outdoor oriented: love climbing, skiing, hiking, etc.

traveled to more than 40 countries, and would have to say the best is turkey and italy. although, laos is really up there. i do believe in the tenet of "the journey is the destination". the people you meet on the way, the experiences you share...wow!

my stress relief is strumming on my guitar or renting a dvd...and climbing. used to write poetry, so rereading some of that brings back those halcyon days of nostalgia :) love skiing in the winter. Music: phish, grateful dead, sci, moe. and the like
I'm in the middle of about 6 books: lolita, harry potter, 2 murakami works, heart of a dog (bulgakov [read: master and margherita])-i'm way into fiction: history is good, but sometimes too boring-a mind is a terrible thing to waste:read!

i like to laugh, so i'd like to go to the punch line or cobb's comedy club for a good night of stand up and drinks. i think those who laugh together have fun together!
