First off, I'm straight, unattached and I have a job! I smoke (cigarettes), but don't drink, drop, snort, shoot or rub wierd crap on my belly! I'm a solid, self-sufficent professional who could care less about Monday Night Football. (I'd rather read Gibran or ride my Harley) Nor do I need a a maid or a cook to take care of me. I most likely can cook better than you can. I'm not interested in being someone's sugar daddy either. I am a hopeless romantic who hopes for the best but fears that ideal may not exist.

REALITY CHECK. If you've gotten this far it's time for a reality check. Yes, my hair is grey and I'm somewhat overweight. On the other hand, I am creative and giving, belive firmly in treating a lady like a lady; and won't beat you or degrade you like some of your previous boyfriends. Only been married once and that lasted 20 years. I raised two good sons, neither of whom grew up to be a menace to society.

I've been reading the profiles here for a few years and the patterns are obvious. I know you are looking for Mr. Tall, Dark and Handsome. Well, Mr. Tall is either looking for a trophy wife (someone far younger than you) or another victim who will warm his bed and pay his bills (someone like you). The really rich ones aren't here on POF. You have a choice: keep chasing after smooth talking bad boys who will leave you with more baggage; or take a shot on a gentleman who just might know how to make you happy.

I'm here to meet you, not plan an "activity." I want to know your mind long before I "know" anything else. So, someplace quiet where we could relax, talk, get to know each other. I'm not real big on crowds or mob scene entertainment. A quiet dinner or cup of coffee at Starbucks would be nice. If we "click" then we can look for something to do or someplace to go together that's interesting and entertaining.
