It's all about the music. I spend a disproportionate amount of time listening, recording, buying, etc music. I also like to read, but undoubtedly have the stereo playing at the same time. Just finished reading John Irving's Until I Find You. Not his best work, but not his worst either.
Besides music I enjoy, travelling, hiking, swimming, photography, and websurfing.
They say it is important to write about your goals and aspirations, but I think it is more important to discover the chemistry that two people share rather than just going on about myself.
The online dating experience (for some of us) is about finding someone with whom you are compatible and the only way to do that is to communicate directly with each other.

A first date can be anything from a simple cup of coffee to dinner at a quiet restaurant. Whatever enables you to get to know each other adn to decide if there is sufficient chemistry to justify continuing to learn more.
