Let's see, I have been in Illinois for about two years, a transplant from North Carolina. I have noticed the southern accent is apparently a rarity in a city as diverse as Chicago. I recently lost my father to cancer which affected me tremedously and gave me a new outlook on every aspect of my life. To quote words to live by: "There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situation. Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled. If you want to feel rich,just count all the things you have that money can't buy. Today is a gift that is why it is called the present." I live by a positive attitude which includes making fun of myself and just being goofy to make others laugh.
My life experiences have taught me to appreciate the simple things in life. I find my wealth comes from having such a wonderful family and quality friends who are worth more than any worldly possession. I believe we are all put here for a reason, whether you ever realize it or not. I am extremely outgoing, if I am your friend; it’s for life. My passion is the arts in any form and the people who take pride in their work. I am intrigued in new things so I don't get bored and appreciate every day I have on this earth.



My interest are all over the place depending on the time of year and the fact that Chicago summers are short and sweet. I love music and try to keep an open mind to many different genres although you can't like everything. Learning to play the guitar. Love North Carolina basketball and most other sports. Some of my interest include art,camping, fishing, writing, concerts, sporting events, and honestly I will try most things at least once. Variety is the spice of life. I know cliche'.

I am looking for someone who is generally a nice guy but hey who isn't. I think it's sexy when men do not take theirself too serious. I value honestly and to me it's a very important attribute for someone to possess. A sense of humor would be nice as well.
