Fun and funny, I'd like to meet someone who likes to laugh and is easy going. I'm pretty laid back and friendly and I'm looking for a girl to hang out with and see if more develops. I'm mature and responsible but I still know how to have a good time.

I have an offbeat sense of humour and am generally an offbeat kinda guy. I defy labels and hate being called a hippie. I tell the guys at work that the difference between me and a hippie is if you call ME a hippie you might get a punch in the lips! I'm not particularly insecure, but I'd hate for the guys to think I'm too passive to take their crap without being called on it! Otherwise I'm easygoing and too gentle to ever start a fight.

I'm the kind of guy that holds the door for people or gives up his seat for an old lady. I volunteer with the SPCA and Habitat for Humanity where I've been upgrading some of their electrical stuff. I'm pretty handy and I try to use my skills for both good and evil! Besides it'll look good on my pre-sentence report (just kidding!!!)

I'm ambitious in the sense that I'm career driven, but I don't let it define me as a person, I'd always help a friend and have many who'd vouch for me. I prefer simpler things, like going to the beach during high winds and exploring parks and canoeing. I like silence when its not awkward and strained, and smart people. I read but rarely have the time to finish anything. I really enjoy good conversation and can both carry the discussion and listen. I'm open minded and I judge people as individuals. I'm not a homophobe or a closet rascist.

I have an interesting job as an electrician for concert sites. I recently worked the Paul McCartney and KISS concerts, a brutal experience that can only be described as two weeks of hell! We had a generator fail on Sir Paul that nearly caused the show to cancel and had a cable fire that nearly disrupted KISS. People wonder why I smoke dope!

As far as this whole "drugs" thing goes, I just smoke a bit of pot sometimes when I'm out having a good time, that's it, I don't even really consider it a drug. If you don't like people who smoke weed occasionally, go burn some Beatles records and smash art or whatever you crazy zealots do for fun! :p

My ideal first date would be casual, not even a date, just a "hi how are ya, nice to see you're not a felon from Arkansas", you know, over a coffee, or a game of pool or mini golf or bowling.
