After neglecting a personal life by and large for my whole life for priorities I felt more important, I’m finally in a position to see what’s out there. I've changed careers, started my own business on the side and have been in my house for 2 years. That being said, I feel that many of my career and other goals are under way and I can look for someone I will share similar interests and values with and possibly more down the road.
I realize that many words people use to describe themselves are based on perception. Some folks think I’m funny and others don’t. Some think I’m a good guy and some don’t care for me too much. Like anyone else, I perceive myself to have some good qualities. I am quiet by nature and have a good head on my shoulders. Family and close friends are important to me. I consider myself to be driven and goal oriented, loyal, dependable and honest and look for these traits in others as well.
I'm a simple guy who enjoys hanging out in my wranglers and a t-shirt, but can always clean up when necessary. I enjoy simple things like fishing all night with George Jones and Merle Haggard on the radio and sitting on the tailgate with a cold beer and good company talking life and telling stories.
I've got some big goals and big expectations for the future. A lot of my time these days goes towards my business and developing the plan that will enable me to reach those goals and expectations.
I intend on moving out to a small town in the country on some land in the future. I enjoy the slower pace of life and prefer a small town to the city when it comes to raising a family. That being said, I'm not dead set on a cowgirl/country girl, just someone that enjoys the small town way of life.
I am very even keel. I don't need the approval of others to determine my self worth. The woman I'm looking for would probably have a similar disposition. Looks are important to some degree, but can only carry a person so far. I am much more interested in meeting a complete woman. In a woman, I'm not as concerned with her personality traits (funny, bubbly etc) as I am with character traits like honesty, loyalty, dependability and maturity. Life is a great teacher, and I'm looking for a woman that has been knocked down by life but was strong enough to learn from it and come back even stronger. I'm looking for a woman who knows who she is (doesn't need others to tell her), and knows where she's going in life and how she's going to get there.
