About Me
Love “playing house” – own a 100 year-old historic house and have made as many improvements. Note: Do to the intense diligence of many dedicated women over a half-century I have earned my House-broken Credential. I am certified in toilet seat handling (when up, when down, when to clean), trash and recycling procedures, the care and feeding of dish washers, general house keeping, and a myriad of other household items. Upon request I can provide my papers. Post-graduate certification includes both floral and vegetable gardening.
I am also the unofficial ski coach of the National Bermuda Ski Team (a take off of the Jamaican Bob Sled Team). Have taught about 20 Bermudians how to ski using techniques I learned as a member of the national handicapped ski team. The team toured the US conducting instructor clinics for ski instructors. My specialty was blind skiers.
I founded Growth Associates over 35 years ago, providing management and organizational development to clients primarily within the US. Still do a little consulting work.
Travel can be enjoyable with the right companion. Through work I’ve visited almost every state. Every European trip has been a pleasure from the exposure to different cultures and life styles. The people, not the place, make it special. Content today to fly a kite on a northwest beach – again, with the right companion.
Dancing has been a lifelong pleasure - flowing with the rhythm of the music whether it is Louisiana zydeco, salsa, waltz, 60’s swing, or a sensual blues dance. I can teach you to dance. I can lead the dance. I can’t teach you to feel. This can be a terrific area of sharing.
I learned to read early and write late. The unique part is that having flunked freshman English I ended up writing two books. The second book, Common Sense Management, is still in publication.
One warning should we meet. If anything mysteriously disappears or appears it’s because you’re visiting with a professional magician (Bumbling Bill – who forgets to bring coins, cards, etc. and therefore must make them appear out of the air – or from behind your ear).
Well that about covers it – house (yeah, he’s not homeless), skiing (athletic and caring), business (has some income), travel (sophistication and simplicity), dancing (sensual?), read/write (literate maybe), and magician (unique or just weird?).
This guy might be interesting.
First Date
We’ve talked on the telephone enough so that when we meet it seems like a reunion. Our first date is planned during our conversations. My suggestions include dancing and situations in which we can get to know each other better. Your suggestions?
The purpose is safely getting to meet, enjoying one another’s company, and seeing if want to proceed.
