My hobbies and interests are varied and include (but are not limited to): conversation, books, needlework of all kinds, traveling, history, singing, archery, dancing the tango and hula, and exploring old towns. I can use power tools and know about painting and plumbing to a point. I like tv and I follow NCIS, House, and Bones. And I am NON-Afrocentric in my outlook on life. In fact I tend to be interested in the entire world, most religions and most civilizations. Multicultural and diverse are my goals.

My favorite foods are Chinese, Italian and Mexican. For music I like the Blues, Classic Rock n' Roll, Classical, Oldies and Opera (I will not force anyone to listen to this). I love the great outdoors when it is cool to cold outside. Growing up in DC and living in Maryland I have found that the insect population LOVES me (as in trying to eat me alive!). So doing stuff outdoors during warmer months, not for me. Personally I prefer a roaring fire, some hot tea and a wonderful man to snuggle with during the colder months. And a great air conditioner, a cold glass of iced tea and a wonderful man to snuggle with during the summer. Fall and Spring, well that depends on the temperature. I do love the fall, winter and early spring.

I like the guy-next-door type, who has a sense of humor. He should like or at least tolerate cats and be TALL (hey, I'm 6 feet tall, I need a tall guy).
