Been alone for a long time and would like to find someone for a long term relationship eventually. Looking for honest and monogamous should that time come. Would like someone who is attractive (to me) but not high maintenance and doesn't mind getting her hands dirty now and then. A lady who is intelligent with a good head on her shoulders as well as a good heart. Children over 18 and at age where they pretty much have their own lives. Pretty sick and tired of the bar scene but many of my friends from back in high school are musicians and I do go to see them sometimes when they have a gig which is usually only every month or two. Some friends play in rock band, one in a more blues oriented band and another, who is the most professional, has drummed with a lot of the major bands around town (Fantasy, Jim Manleys Horns in the House, Rhythm Rockers, Ralph Butler, Fluid Drive, Charlie Glenn as well as a myriad of others over the years). Like almost all types of music (Hendrix to Sinatra) except rap. Only interested in non-smoker and someone who can write a complete sentence (at least) mostly spelled correctly.

Probably something simple and inexpensive on a first date insofar as you don't know if there is any chemistry yet. Maybe the Zoo or fishing (a true romantic) or a Saturday morning checking out garage sales. Something without a lot of pressure where we could get to know each other.
