Life's possibilities continue to enthrall me, and I relate best to those who share my sometimes absurd optimism. I love New York City in all its complexity and diversity and, although I grew up here, am still wide-eyed at all it has to offer. I'm quite social, have many friends of all ages as well as a wonderful close-knit family, but I also enjoy spending some time alone. I write (primarily fiction) and like to have a little solitary time with my laptop. Things I'm good at include cooking, writing, reading, kissing, and even arithmetic. I'm drawn to the kind of man who, no matter his age, has a passion for life, who appreciates its sensual, emotional and intellectual aspects -- someone who can be both a lover and a friend, who doesn't take himself too seriously, who has a life of his own and doesn't depend on his mate for total fulfillment. I relate best to the kind of man who hasn't stopped questioning, who believes there's more to learn and explore.
