Umm.. how to start this. I am sick of being single, so trying out the dating scene. However, I am not averse to just meeting people to hang out with. I am very goal-oriented and very successful thus far in my career. For me, an intellectual connection with a guy is the most important, i.e., one who can have an intellectually stimulating debate with another without ad hominem attacks.

I work out alot.. and take health seriously. Good relationship material would probably need to align well with this! I work in the health industry and love discussing any health issue!

What do I find attractive? hmmm.. I find intellect hot. I also have an appreciation for grammar - those who read are a +++ (Unfortunately, being in grad school has limited my pleasure reading). I work out and find guys that work out hotter than those who do not (I guess this is a given eh?). I guess I have more in common with athletic individuals seeing as I swim, run, and play a variety of sports. I also have more to discuss with men that are well-traveled (I have lived on 4 separate continents). I abhor laziness and adore ambition. I have a slight (maybe more than slight) attraction to men who wear spectacles - this is not a pre-requisite though! I love languages as well (I speak Spanish and am conversational in French - Quebec style!)

I don't like drugs or smoking. Not really my cup o' tea. And no... being from BC does not imply that I smoke pot. I don't care for super pretentious people either. In other words, you probably aren't hot sh*tjust because you wear Louis Vuitton shoes.

I'm new to the dating scene. Although shy at first, I tend to open up shortly thereafter.

I have no idea about dating guys. That's to say going on an actual 'date' and what that would constitute. Pretty easy going here (although everybody says that eh? Really... I am from BC so more laid back than most Torontonians). Beer, coffee, walk... anything really besides something that is not social (e.g., watching a movie in a movie theatre for a first date is fairly anti-social)!
