I am very passionate about supporting our veterans and protecting the rights of children as well as the environment. I love doing volunteer work with poor inner city kids and veterans organizations. I do this because my grandfather who came into this world an orphan never knew his parents while he grew up alone in Boys Town located in Nebraska. He can be scene marching next to Father Flanagan in the movie Boys Town. He went on to fight bravely on Omaha beach during WWII and was awarded the purple heart. He is a very humble beautiful man devoted to my grandmother for over 50 years which I feel should be the rule not the exception.
I mostly read law, reef and fitness mags but I'm always very current on international events and how they shape U.S. foreign diplomacy as well as military global responses to international incidents. I like to travel and have been to Bangkok, Spain, Germany, Prague and Mexico. I have lived and worked in Colorado, DC, VA, FL and GA.
Only my friends know how compassionate I am, how much I love to laugh and how contagious my laugh is. They know my passion for helping people less fortunate or broken hearted and that I studied environmental science in hopes of helping animals some day. I raise fish and invertebrates in both a salt water reef tank and a fresh water Discus tank as my hobby. I feel best when I'm near the oceans, mountains and wetlands and look forward to teaching geology to kids after I earn my masters degree in education. I respect the American flag and all those who have who have protected it as well as our country. I'm a Northwestern grad and a big Wildcat football fan (Go U NU !)
I feel the greatest secret of life is that all that is really worth doing is what we do for others. I firmly believe in KARMA !
