| | I have been a widow for almost 9 years. I have two daughters, the oldest is 24 and a professional, the youngest is ready to graduate high school. For the first time in a long time I am ready to think about myself and do some of the things I have put in the background while raising my daughters. I am a professional with no baggage. I own my own home and am totally self-sufficient. I do not need someone to take care of me but as of now I do not know how to keep myself "company".
I am a very good listener and friend. I have been blessed with lots of close friends however, they are all either married or in exclusive relationships. I want that again. I had a good marriage for over 20 years but it was cut short when my husband died of cancer. I know what it takes to make a good relationship and I want that again.
I love sporting events(football in particular)and also movies,etc. You might find me at an amusement park or just hanging out on the weekends.
I love most types of music(except hip hop and heavy metal). I want to retire within the next 3-5 years and travel, sleep late, stay up late and enjoy just smelling the roses.
I go the beach every year as well as a long weekend in Florida or Tennessee every month or so. I would like to share these experiences with someone. |

I have been on several first dates in the past few years. I enjoy going for a long walk, dinner, a drive in the country. I do not like movies on a first date because you cannot get to know someone while sitting in a theatre for a couple of hours. I do enjoy movies but later in a relationship. It really does not matter to me as long as I get some one on one time with the other person to get to know him |
