Hi there how is life treating you lately? I'm Scott and I live in the southeast area of Portland I have my own place with some acreage with a little upkeep in the summer. I grew up in Texas and locally, I'm a southern man by heart, I spiritually feel that being close to nature and creating that balance is something I continue to strive for. I just recieved my passport an will be doing some traveling, when I do I would like to not go it alone. I would enjoy the company, also being close to the water whether swimming or rafting, maybe a cruise.

I like taking the boat out in the summer, I enjoy fishing an watersports. I've been working the same gig now for 15 years, I enjoy my work and career, don't imagine doing anything else at this point in my life. What else about me, of course the vital statistics, I'm 48 years young I don't have any kids, I'm 5'10" weight 205 lbs. I've lost some weight over the past 2 years, I began to incorporate exercise and diet with a more active life style to keep it off.

I'm looking for a LTR with someone that shares a lot of the same common interest, share some new experiences, has had a little life experience with everyday ups an downs. I can laugh at myself even in times of losing control because life is just to short to be caught up an worry about issues out of our control. I'm a steady an reliable man that has a real need for stability in my life an when certain events arise I take them in stride. I enjoy being around kids an understand the committment an joy they bring to the table.

I believe my relationship with god is 1st an foremost in my life, only then are we able share that relationship with others an I think it is a measure of a man. So I just wanted to convey my thoughts here, it is hard to convey oneself in a box, I like to think out of the box, also I don't want to come across as sounding scripted here but have improvised only here. I believe in relationships that start as friendships, work out by building trust along with sharing each others thoughts, also being honest with each other.
