I am a nurse in a nursing home, and I highly enjoy my job. When I'm not working I enjoy socializing, hanging out with friends. My son is 15 and prefers to hang out with his friends rather than spend an evening with mom. I enjoy sports...football being my favorite sport, then baseball, but I would never turn down going to any sporting event. I've recently taken up running...not real good at it yet but I have signed up for two 1/2 marathons this year, it helps to have a goal. I do not smoke and would prefer someone that doesn't smoke. I do drink socially 1 or 2 times a week and I have been known to have a drink at home to relax but that is not daily. I'm not a gourmet cook but I can cook well enough to survive.

I love to laugh and sometimes my sense of humor can be a bit warped. So a good sense of humor is a must...cant take life to seriously. I'm not dumb but I will admit that I can sometimes be a ditz...you've been warned...I often crack myself up. I listen to all types of music...it all depends on my mood; classic rock, top 40, some rap, soft rock, country,...

I am a die hard romantic....
Holding hands, kissing, public displays of affection, snuggling on the couch, the occasional text message to let you know you're being though of, a surprise card in the mail, etc.

I love to dance...the kind of dancing that my parents do, where you lead and I
follow.

I would someday like to be in a long term relationship but I dont want nor do I need that to happen overnight.

For a first date I prefer an activity that allows for communication. I would not want to go to the movies because I would find myself wondering about you rather than watching the movie.

Bowling, Museum, Six Flags would be a great ideas for a first date, or anything along those lines.
