I am a single professional mother who loves her kids, is financially independant, is physically fit, intelligent and a Christian. I work out 5 times a week - kickboxing, running, spinning, weights, elliptical...and I love to eat, but healthy. I love a fit body and work hard at maintaining mine. I love high heels, dresses, short skirts and shorts when appropriate, tight jeans...but at work you'd never know that..I'm the picture of a professional business woman there - wear a suit as I am a director for a biotech firm. I'm kind of a lady on the street and sexy the rest of the time...lol
I totally love music and dancing - I definitely need to get out more...I've just entered into the dating scene and have been alone for too long. I love affection whether in public or not...I think romance starts with friendship and grows from there.
I am a really focused person with a lot of initiative...I finished my executive MBA in May (at 47) and I loved it. I am in executive managment, love what I do but am not married to it. I've earned some flexibility in my work schedule to take time off, take care of my family and to live well. I am totally financially independant. I have a great home in Carlsbad, drive a gas hog to haul kids and a dog as necessary...a sports car would be great but well I'm not materialistic. I like my home to look nice...I am working on some decorating and upgrading furniture right now, but I love being with my kids, outdoors and with friends, so it admittedly takes a back burner to the rest of my life.

My kids do live with me and I am totally satisfied being a mother (I'd love your kids too), but I am a independant woman who also has my own life...I travel a bit for work and enjoy that free time, as well as getting with friends and going out. I also believe that the healthiest relationships give each person the free space to grow and do what makes them feel best. I like my free time as well as my family time and most definitely my intimate time with my partner. I am totally easy-going, flexible and have a sense of humor. I am respectful and love when my partner respects me and loves me for the essence of who I am. I do the same in return. I love giving a good massage and having a partner that likes to take his time and enjoy the moment. I think that comes with age.

I am very high energy...but low maintenance. I can multi-task and organize better than anyone I know. I feel like I'm in my 20's - definitely not showing my age.
I believe in Jesus, fear God, go to church and raise my kids to live right. I work hard to set a good example for them...no drugs, I don't smoke, I try not to let those occasional swear words slip in front of them, I drink occasionally and am a loyal lover...I think sex is something to share between 2 people who care for one another, but not with several people at a time...geez!

I'm looking for a good solid spiritual man who is fit, kind, considerate, respects women, loves kids and animals, is energetic, intelligent and fun to be around. I want to laugh and enjoy a close, intimate relationship with the right man at the right time - hopefully that will grow into a deep sense of commitment. I want to find the last love of my life...have him be my best friend and the person I want to wake up to every morning and hold in my arms every night.

First dates are so important. Did you know that we make the decision as to whether we like someone or have chemistry with them in the first 3 minutes of meeting them? So atmosphere is important. A walk on the beach at sunset, meeting at a coffee or wine bar with soft music, having sushi and hot saki at an "off the beaten path" restaurant, a walk around a lake or at a park, a glass of wine at a restaurant with a view of or next to the beach or lagoon....all great places to nuture that first spark of interest.

Lots of time on future dates for cycling, hiking, wine-tasting, stopping in to listen to a band play and having a drink, baking on the beach(my favorite)...yum.
