Hmmm...what to say here about myself?

I will start with two of the things I know you men want to know, but are afraid to ask...
I am 5'9 and weigh 142 pounds. I am in reasonably good shape for an old gal ;)...

I have been separated for two and a half years and am in the final stages of a very amicable divorce. My ex and I are on good terms after being married for 18 years. I have two teen aged kids who live with me full time. I have a job, own my own house, and am going back to college in the spring. A door has opened in my life and I am really looking forward to seeing what lies ahead for me!


I am looking for a good friend first--and see where things go from there. I am not in a hurry to find that special someone. I would be happy to find someone who I am compatible with to enjoy some of the great things life has to offer :)

I am fun, spontaneous, independent, self reliant, easy going and laid back. An old fashioned gal with a bit of rebel is how my friends describe me. I'm not into drama, and I don't nag! I love live music, comedy clubs, the dark of night, finding new places to explore, thunderstorms, trying new foods, blue jeans, doing new things, meeting new people, beer, scented candles, bonfires,roller coasters, and flip flops in the summer. I am more informal than formal, but do well in just about any type of social setting.


I recently moved back to the area to start over, and am looking to meet some new, fun people with positive attitudes and a sense of humor to hang out with once and a while.

Meet for a cup of fresh coffee, or perhaps a beer. Something that would allow us to feel comfortable as well as give us time to chat.
