I grew up and finished college in Texas before moving to Las Vegas 7 years ago. I work as an engineer and am currently the General Manager of a development business in Summerlin. I'm also currently attending graduate school at UNLV working towards a MBA (finance concentration). I appreciate a strong work ethic in other people and cherish the value of hard work, although I don't discriminate against those with more advantageous backgrounds either.

I believe in chivalry, good manners, importance of family & friends, knowing who your neighbors are, treating people with respect, etc., which seem to be southern values. Trust, honesty, and integrity are VERY important to me. I think if you have to tell lies to the person you love, you're not in the right relationship. I'm an old-fashioned romantic and really like the small kind gestures.

I've never been married, no kids, etc.. I would describe myself as pretty much baggage-free so far in life, and all around happy and positive. I have one sister who recently had twins. I live in a house with my puppy, Oreo.

For fun, I'm very easy going and up for anything. I enjoy conversation with friends over dinner or drinks, trying out new places, hiking, concerts, movies, cuddling up, visiting friends, and working out. I'm generally up for pretty much everything.

I do have a slight accent, but it's subsided alot after being here for 7 years, so it only comes out every now and then when I get excited.

I think with online dating it's a good idea to meet up first for a simple drink to see if there's any chemistry there. If there is, the next meeting can be a formal date. I enjoy going to nice dinners in locations with great ambiance, taking a walk by the Bellagio fountains, etc., and most importantly, talking and getting to know each other.
