Friends are very important to me and because of this, I enjoy spending time with these special people. I enjoy traveling and have been to many countries over my lifetime. There are still so many more places that I want to see. My other interests include reading novels, spending time at beaches, and going to concerts and theatre.
My taste in music is both country and pop, although I do enjoy all music.
I am the kind of person who likes being around positive people. When I spend time around people with negative attitudes, it brings me and everyone else down. Life is too short to hang with those type of personalities. I have a good sense of self, and am very independent. I am a warm and caring individual who is not into playing games. With me, what you see is what you get. I am not into men who are totally into themselves (big egos)and who are looking to see how many women they can add to their list. I am a fun person with a good sense of humor (sometimes dry) and I am interested in finding a caring, thoughtful man to spend time who is interested in similar things. If you don't like chocolate, I'll let that slide!
My goals and aspirations are to live life to its fullest and have a great time doing so. I am an elementary school teacher and love my job. Everyday is a new experience with kids. I love children because they are so open and honest. Eveything is exciting and new. AS adults, wouldn't this be something to aspire to?

On a first date, I would prefer to meet for a glass of wine or simply a drink at Starbucks to get to know each other.
