I am a single father of my 24yo. son who has taught me what it really means to love someone. Divorced since '89 it's just been the two of us. I believe this is the most important job I've ever had. I am passionate, sensual, articulate, nurturing and a very good cook, I even bake bread twice a week! I have traveled extensively around this country and decided to settle in the northwest. I fish and love the outdoors and I am a pretty good horseman. I smoke a pipe, occasionally, but, not compulsively, and an occasional cigar, but, dislike cigarette smoke. Looking for someone who still has that spark of youth, is intelligent, and stimulating and into communicating. Egalitarian in my approach to relationships, I'm looking for a partner, not a sycophant. I would hope our relationship would be one of mutual learning/sharing.

UPDATE; My son left on 6/21 to complete his training as a commercial pilot, I am so proud of him, but, trying to adjust to being alone after so many years is challenging...

I was a musician in the late 60's and 70's. We were very different and pretty good for the time and we opened for bands like the Doors, Canned Heat, Buffalo Springfield and the Youngbloods to name a few. I'm the lowest one in the B/W photo. The band was Smoke Blues Band and there is a CD still available through CD Baby.

I have also received some notoriety as a maker of bamboo fly rods. I'm in several books and magazines and had an article written about me published in Fly Fishing Magazine.
