I have been retired for over three years, after working as a school psychologist, primarily with low-income, middle school students. I enjoy exercising, reading, walking my Australian Kelpie (dog), spending time with friends and family, hiking, going to see live music, and continuing to work on my piano-playing skills. Just bought a harmonica and am playing around with it. I love hot, electric blues, and enjoy both Biscuits & Blues in San Francisco, and Armando's in Martinez. I also enjoy country, pop, rock, classical, and other genres. I am starting to travel a bit, and would like to do more, as my budget allows. I am committed to separation of church and state, and am an admitted atheist. I like to challenge convention, and maybe push the envelope a bit -- I am looking for someone who has a belief system that is compatible with mine. I do not adopt faith-based beliefs, but instead believe based on scientifically based evidence. In other words, I do not believe in god, astrology, or reincarnation. If that offends you, then we are not a match! I would love an authentic relationship in which we both are very comfortable being our real selves. I was a virgin burner at Burningman this year, and would love to go again. I am a realist who desires emotional intimacy (a romantic)!

Whatever would give us a chance to get to know each other, and see if there is a good connection, a comfort level, and some chemistry. (The age listed on here is not accurate and I tried to change it but am unable to -- I am three years older but people always think I am considerably younger than my years) My pictures are current and I remain slender.
