Overall, I'm very happy in life, with a variety of interests and activities to keep me busy -- I have a graduate degree in Sociology, I work in commercial real estate management, I do community theater, I play competitive badminton, I like to golf, read, travel, sing, dance, play and watch sports (newest hobby: floor hockey), do arts/crafts/home improvement projects, and much more. I’m also blessed with an amazing family and wonderful friends, but I am always up for making new connections, and would like, sometime in the not-too-distant future, to make that one special connection.

I try to be fairly well-rounded and balanced: I value my independence, but I'm also a very loyal and reliable friend; I'm fairly confident and successful, but not vain or materialistic; outgoing but not overbearing; spiritual/religious, but not dogmatic; athletic, but not into going to the gym; artistic, but not too offbeat; politically liberal, but with fairly traditional values/goals for myself; etc.

It really depends on how we met and what we've talked about...there's no "one" formula for a good first date, but in general drinks/appetizers/coffee/dessert somewhere that allows for plenty good conversation!
