My first date would probably be the traditional conversation over coffee. I think it's the best way to ease the nervousness associated with the first dates in a comfortable setting. After covering all the basics and getting to know each other more in-depth, we could advance to the traditional dinner and a movie or whatever would suit us best from then on.
