I've had a great deal of fun looking at profiles and finding myself intrigued and cringing at the same time, but rarely interacting. My commitments (work, volunteering, etc.) keep me engaged in others lives that I frequently put (past tense) my own ambitions on hold.

I intend to use this as a place to meet people that time may not otherwise allow me to meet. My plate may still be full, but I want to have fun with my life and enrich others. If you are on here only to find a long term relationship, participate in no other activities and don't want to have any of the fun with dating, it might not work out with me.

First dates should be active, fun, and engaging. Loud, crazy bars and movies are out of the question. Maybe a trip to a baseball game, a walk outside or some other activity. Coffee/Drinks are a staple and the rest can be played by ear...
