About Me
If you have clicked on my profile, you want to know more about me! Yay! This part is always hard though, 'cause I know that you (the guys reading this) will be deciding if you want to contact me based on what is here :o) So here goes:
By day I work as a conventions manager for a publishing company. At night I teach Tai Chi twice a week, and I also sing in my church on the weekends. I enjoy going to the movies, reading - I am not into romance novels, though. None of that heaving bosom crap. Quirky fact: I read the ends of books first. Just something I do. This never spoils the book for me though. If the end grabs me, I will read the book to see how the writer got there. My favorite tv show is 24. I have a classical music background, but I also listen to alternative, pop, and sometimes R&B. I am a fan of country music, but not bluegrass. Elvis Presley is a favorite of mine. I am the middle of 7, which makes life interesting. I am a lover of cats, and animals in general, except for snakes and fish. They have never insulted me personally, I just don't care for them :-) I freely admit that I am not into sports, but will watch a game. I do not understand football, much to the embarrassment of my family, who are ALL sports people. In the next few years, I would like to open a martial arts school, which will add to the growth of the branch I study, which is Pakua. I am also currently studying Sintony, which is a form of Chinese Yoga. I will try almost anything once; but if I don't like it, I won't do it. I do like to travel; I have been to South America a few times, and love it there. I love to cook, just don't have the time. That's all for now! The rest in person :-)
First Date
First dates are unique, and vary from person to person. I was recently on a date with someone I met,and we went to dinner at a very nice restaurant. But we planned it before hand. I think a first date should not be too formal, because we are meeting each other for the first time, so a casual coffee or drink is great. I would try to bring something so you could get to know me a little better, for example a book, or a cd with songs I like, and would encourage you to do the same. I really do not think every "first date" is the same, so would have to see what happens if we decide to take that step.
