I have job (which I’m pretty happy with), a car, a place to live.
I don’t have tattoos, piercings, large scars (sorry if you're after that "bad boy" look ladies), ex-wives, children or an arrest record.
Like the usual things movies, concerts, comedy clubs, restaurants, hugs, kisses, puppies, sunshine, the beach, the mountains, spell checkers (if you saw what this looked like before the spell checker you'd understand), honesty, openness.
I dislike the usual things conflict, drama, mind games, lies.
I would like someday to have a cute little house, with a garden out back, a couple of big dogs, maybe some cats and a nice person I love to share it with.
In an ideal woman I'm looking for...Wow if I knew the answer to that this would be so much easier. I'd like someone nice with a sense of humor, who is open minded. You know all the normal stuff, plus that undefinable little spark that makes us click in a wonderful way that nobody else does.

An ideal first date would probably start at a coffee shop, like most first dates seem too. We’d meet and get our coffee then sit and talk. We’d start off with the usual first date banter about careers and families but we’d soon be joking, laughing, telling secrets and lapsing into comfortable silences like old friends who hadn’t seen each other in a very long time. Every time we'd bump knees or casually brush finger tips we feel a jolt of electric excitement. Our coffee would get cold untouched as the time slipped by and before we knew it the coffee shop would be closing. Even though we’d both already stayed longer then we had planned to neither one of us would any interest in bringing the night to an end so we’d find some way to keep the evening going. Maybe it would be a restaurant that was still serving food where we'd enjoy some appetizers and a drink. Or maybe we’d decide to go to a late night movie. We pick the latest, worst movie we could find. We wouldn’t want there to be anybody else in the theater who would be distracted by our talking. Maybe we’d drive over to the coast so we could snuggle up together under a warm blanked next to a fire and watch the waves while drinking hot chocolate. Later when we notice that the sun had started to rise we’d realize that we have to admit the night is over and we should end our first date. Depending on the day we might also realize that we have to call in and let work know we won’t be in today. Staying up all night will have made us hungry so we’d go back to my place and I’d make you breakfast, nothing fancy pancakes or eggs and toast what every you're in the mood for. I don't need to impress you with my culinary skills yet. After we eat we'd sit on the couch for a bit before you left just to say good bye for now and to get a few more minutes together, of course after being up all night we'd drift asleep on the couch leaning up against each other. When it's time for you to go we take the long way back to your car, slowly growing closer the whole time. Our hands lightly, briefly touch, our touches become slower and more lingering. Our fingers intertwine. When it is time to say goodbye we hug, you lean in and we share one soft perfect kiss and a lingering embrace. We reluctantly part ways already planning our second date.

Of course Life is rarely ideal so more likely coffee, walk and maybe a good night hug?
