I am first and foremost a single Dad to a fantastic 12 year old son. I have attended the same church for 20+ years, and have pretty conservative values. When I am not working, I can usually be found on a local golf course, Kokanee fishing at Odell Lake, or working on a project in my shop. My career has me traveling about 25% of the time, which I usually enjoy. I love to travel, and am planning a trip to Italy with my son next summer. I attended the U of O and Majored in English, but discovered in my practicum year that I hated teaching high school, so I went into business for myself as a General Contractor- which I loved. After about 15 years of building custom homes and churches, I needed a change- so I got into sales and I am truly blessed to love what I am doing and the company I work for. I still do custom woodworking as a creative outlet, and am learning to buy and flip houses for fun and profit. I also enjoy playing guitar- a lifelong passion, and occasionally write music and short stories. I hope someday to publish something, but mostly I do it for me. I am probably the most loyal person you will ever meet, sometimes to a fault. As a result, I expect the same in turn. you can count on me to be honest and have strong opinions about just about everything- but I am pretty good about only giving them when asked for!

An ideal first date is such a subjective thing. I enjoy getting to know someone over coffee in a place where you don't have to yell to be heard. That being said, I also love going to concerts- especially outdoors, or listening to live music in a local bar. If it's a blues band, my evening is complete! Movies and dinner are great, but a hike or spontaneous trip to Portland or the coast are even better. I like being surprised, and love to be unpredictable and spontaneous- I hope you do too.
