OK gang! I have alot of hobbies - I get interested in things easily I guess. I enjoy cars, bicycling, target shooting, antique-ing, architecture and travel. I have a kayak that I like to take to the intracoastal, and I like to bicycle. I like to go to movies, generally comedies or action. But really, a relationship is more than just a list of shared hobbies. It's about enjoying the time you spend with someone, because you won't always be doing fun things. A person has to be able to hold a conversation - to have a deeper thought once in a while than 'How's the weather?'

I graduated from Wright State University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Management and Finance, but by the time I finished I was bored to death of the banking industry. I instead went to work as a "quality engineer" in the automotive industry because I like cars so much. As that industry is dwindling I've made a recent change and now I work for a company that makes medical devices. I enjoy it.

I have a Yorkshire Terrier named Rocky that I take just about everywhere. I love animals and this guy is my buddy. We go for walks everyday, regardless of the weather. He insists! I'd like to have another yorkie or something but I think I'd try to find the next one from a shelter.

I enjoy driving down A1A or up through the mountains. I like cars of all different styles for their design and I usually have an antique car or two. I also like to study architectural styles. I enjoy history, and I like to travel to learn about places and understand what it must have been like to live in different places at different times.

I moved here from Ohio and I love it here and plan to stay, no matter what. There's so much to do here and I'd like to find someone special to enjoy it with.

My sense of humor utiizes a deadpan delivery. My friends think I'm one of the funniest people they know, but they are my friends after all! I don't do the Jim Carey routine. I usually wait to get to know someone before I relax enough to kid around - it's easy to offend some people.

In relationships I like to remain equals. I think it's important because both parties need to respect each other in order to love each other. It's hard to find this balance because some people seek to dominate and others to subordinate themselves. When I'm with freinds we aren't trying to vie for position - sure we tease each other but it's done in fun. In the end we're friends and equals and I think it should be the same in relationships.

I also think it's important for people to be able to understand why they feel the way they do, to be able to choose your reaction to events in life and the attitude you will face it with. It's important to put aside your feelings at times so you can make logical conclusions rather than trying to use logic to justify decisions you've already made.

I go to church most Sundays. I don't drink alcohol, I have no tattoos and no piercings. I'm a pretty conservative guy. There's alot of talk these days about confidence. All women say they are attracted to confidence. I'm confident enough to be humble. I'm confident enough to be polite. I don't need to be the center of attention or talk over everyone else. I'm confident enough to admit when I'm wrong, or to respect that we may have a difference in opinions. I'm confident enough to stick to my beliefs and face the consequences. I don't believe confidence is the same as arrogance, most men are arrogant. If you are attracted to arrogance then be honest with yourself about. Insecurity is what causes someone to have to prove what a "bad-ass" they are to everyone and insecurity is hidden in arrogance.

I work to develop my character and inner strength. I've made my share of mistakes in life and I'm sure that I'm going to make more, but I learn from them. If this is appealing to you, please send me a message. I'd like to meet you.
