1-4-10 Happy New Year to everyone, since this is a New Year I thought I would try once more to find that friend that I have been looking for. In my search I read this on someone's profile and decided that this is exactly what I think, so I hope he doesn't mind, but I borrowed his line since it fits me to a T "I keep a very busy schedule, and my desire to find someone has more to do with looking for a good person, a great friend and for sure a great lover than having a lack of things to do". This New Years was a turning point for me in many ways, slowly but surely many things will change this 2010 for the better...
11-17-09 Well, as of today I am officially taking a break from this site.....not sure if it's permanent or temporary....you know what they say "never say never"....so I won't.....who knows I may come back and visit and then I may not......Good look to ever one out there......May you all find what you are looking for....
11-09 Ok, so as suggested by someone recently, I am changing what I am looking for so there are no misunderstandings or anyone think I am contradicting myself :-) .....this really has been more difficult than I really expected! It has been quite a journey. I'm very loving and affectionate woman, looking for that partner that will make me laugh from the heart, I want to laugh until my sides hurt…I want to dance with this man like never before….this man that is willing and able to be with me during the good times but yet very supportive during the bad times. I keep reading in profiles “no drama women need apply” well I have to correct these men because everyone has drama in life…some more than others…but if you are in a relationship there will always be drama in life…but how awesome if there is someone with you that supports you, that reassures you that “this too shall pass” We as humans cannot expect for life to be free of such things…am I really the only one that thinks this way. Many profiles say “don’t judge a book by its cover, yet we all do…I think this is just human nature. We are all looking for the perfect package, and yet we are not perfect ourselves….While I have many faults and I am the first one to admit my faults. My expectations of the perfect man are high...I am a dreamer and I know that my better half is out there...somewhere in this big ocean and I'm determined to get what I want and I will take my time…and when I find him he will help me become his better half.

I have been known to be too honest and at times it has gotten me in trouble but I am never cruel, will speak my mind always.
If you decide to contact me, be sure you include a current picture, not one that was taken years ago and please be sure it's really you....although I am not perfect or close to being perfect all my pictures are recent.
If I contact you first or reply back to you it's because I feel there’s a possibility or a want to meet in person, so don't lie about your height or your looks. If you are ready to meet in person, please, please don't contact me, move on - there are plenty of fish here that want to do the texting or emailing....and can someone please explain why the animal pictures? Don't get me wrong, I know our pets are part of us, but we want to see pictures on the person looking for a date, not the pets they have!

If I contact you, it means that there was something in your profile that caught my eye - so I will write to you, but that doesn’t mean that I have this fatal attraction to you and it’s the end of the world for you because I am not your type or you don’t find me interesting at all…if I add you to my favorites but haven’t written to you is because I want to take my time to say hello even if it’s just a few lines but either I can’t at that moment or I got interrupted by “work” so I will save you for later...I prefer to be honest then to just say “hi…nice profile” and leave it at that…I don’t like receiving those type of messages so I try not to do that either.

I try to reply to everyone, I treat everyone the way I would like to be treated, we just have to be polite and speak what’s on our minds….don’t beat around the bush…you don’t see what you like it won’t be the end of the world, simply say hello….you never know what you’ll find unless you have an open mind and at least open the book!……

something simple non compromising....for either one of us, I usually can tell the minute I meet someone if there is any possibility of more...physical attraction is almost immediately...for me it's that first smile, hygiene is very important to me, so first thing I look at are teeth - nothing like nice sparkling white teeth! The spark in the eyes, they usually don't lie, if it's there, it's there if not at least we both took the chance of meeting. If you feel that I am not what you are looking for say so - again it won't be the end of the world for me, be honest and polite and let's move on. This is for men that don't know how to read me in person "if I haven’t made an excuse the first 5 minutes of meeting you, it’s because I am interested…so don’t make an idiot of yourself by showing interest and then blaming it on me… this just makes you look like you're too immature to deal with a woman….and what ever happened to let’s start with getting to know each other, become friends and then time will tell…..are we all too consumed in ourselves that we don’t have room for friendship?

Caution: yes I am looking for long-term BUT I know this is not going to happen overnight so don't let this fool you I am not a desperate woman seeking just any man, I will not settle for less than what I want.
