Having recently relocated back to Vancouver, I look forward to getting out and meeting new people, hence the foray into the wacky world of online dating. I'm an easygoing 31 year old boyishly handsome rogue, clean cut, driven and professionally employed, yet manage to maintain a healthy dose of the eccentric, alternative in me concurrently. I stand a thoroughly average 5'11" tall, with all my own teeth and everything else still in its rightful place. 30 Helens agree that I'm a good looking guy, with a great smile and a bit of a baby face. Grandma thinks I'm a catch! ;-) Music of varying genres, travelling to obscure foreign outposts and spending time in the great outdoors rank high on my to-do list when I'm not working (which isn't nearly often enough!). Completely free of drugs, drama and other social maladies, my vices consist of sometimes consuming too much coffee, an admitted weakness for a pint of Guinness, and smoking the (very) occassional cigar when the mood strikes. I'm infamous for my dry sense of humour and penchant for mimicry. I take pleasure in keeping those around me laughing, in my own low-key sort of way (think Frasier Crane and Rowan Atkinson's illegitimate love child and you're not too far off :-) ). My expectations as to who/what I aspire to find here are totally open. I've found it best to remain open to the possibilities and welcome new friends, casual dating as well as something more serious should fate intervene and dictate so. As far as the dating perspective goes I stubbornly adhere to my assertion that I don't have a "type", despite my friends protests to the contrary. Invariably, however, I seem to find myself attracted to women between about 24 and 40 who are intelligent, worldly, motivated, non-materialistic, and funloving. Glass-half-full types who keep active, look after themselves with a great smile and a conscience towards the world around them seem to get me every time.
