As you can see from my headline, I am new here, so no photo yet, and also I will need to get busy typing this profile. They say patience is a virtue, and all the best things are worth waiting for, so bear with me.

I have been divorced for a number of years, and have never been on a dating site before, so I don't really know what to expect. I am hoping to meet someone to settle down with eventually, but if I meet new people and end up as friends, that will make joing this site worthwhile too.

I would prefer to meet or chat to someone local, as I can't see the point of chatting to someone who lives miles away, only to end up frustrated because of the distance. I hope that makes sense.

I like most types of music - but am especially fond of rock.
