I am currently completing my Bachelors in General Biology. I plan on going on to study genetics and its application in gene therapy. I see myself as a professor later on in life, and may even decide to teach biology at the high school or junior college level. I greatly enjoy writing, creatively, or for more technical purposes. I currently am in the process of writing a movie script, in addition to another book project.

When I'm not studying, I love to relax, physically mentally, emotionally. Whether its diving into a good book, surfing the internet, watching a movie, going out for drinks, taking long and uncharted drives, random nature hikes or even just hanging out and talking with friends as long as i'm surrounded by positive people, its always bound to be a good time. I enjoy all sorts of music, and i've been told on many occasions that i'm a bit of a human jukebox. I like all genres from hip hop to metal to alternative to country to ska and yes even classical. I tend to be one of those people who can listen to one song over and over and still not get sick of it. I find that i have a soft spot for "modern" music that is able to incorporate the piano and violin into it. I love groups like yellowcard, something corporate, jack's mannequin and flogging molly!
I also absolutely love to Karaoke! So, if you know any good places let me know!


I'm a really easy going individual, and pretty much get along with everyone. I'm a dependable person with a somewhat sadistic sense of humor. I can easily find the humor in some of the most mundane situations. The way i see it, in even the most disheartening of situations, all you can do is laugh at yourself and keep moving on.

I'm a very family oriented individual, and have 2 younger siblings (a sister and brother) who i am extremely close with. My parents are great together, and have always been supportive and continue to be an integral part of my life.

First date huh? well that depends, but mostly, since it would be a first meeting, i'd say something pretty universal. A meal where we could talk and get to know each other, followed by another activity which offers more opportunity to learn more about each other. I get the urge to be spontaneous, so who knows where that could lead, but some of the best outings are the unplanned ones.
