I live in a fairly rural area about an hour and a half outside of Kansas City by the Lake of the Ozarks, so opportunities to meet others can tend to be limited. I am also very active in my childrens' lives. And, since I'm not a huge fan of hitting the bars to meet people, my options tend to be even more limited.

I'm a pretty laid-back person who has a very strong loyalty to his friends. I've lived all over the place (it seems), but have finally found happiness out by the lakes. I love coming home at night and having the deer run out of my yard. It is fun watching the kids catch lizards and frogs in the yard and having them run through the woods playing. My favorite scent is the smell of the water in the morning when there are no boats on the lake and you are cruising through the water on the waverunner.

I'm looking for someone who loves the water and outdoors as much as I do. I'm looking for someone I can connect with on an intellectual level as well as a physical one. You must be honest with yourself as well as me, and we'll get along fine. Nothing turns me off quicker than jealousy or insecurity. And, while honesty and integrity are at the top of my list, I also must feel an attraction to my mate (what a word!) as well.
