I'm a single, professional woman. I'm self employed and enjoy what I do, and like that I'm able to help people in my job. I'm British, and have lived in the Carolinas for 20 years, and love it, though I miss England too!
I've been divorced for three years, and although there are many things about being single that I enjoy, I miss having someone special to share with. It would be great to find someone with similar interests to my own and I'm hoping to find a quality relationship. I'd like to find someone who loves stimulating conversation, who is confident, funny and affectionate.
I love to dance, whether it be freestyle, swing, shag or ballroom, especially to live music, (I played and sang in a band for 25 years) and most Friday nights will find me dancing my socks off.

I love flowers, growing them and receiving them, a good game of pool (where my competitive side comes out), and near the ocean is my favorite place in the world and where I feel most at peace.
I love to travel, anytime, anywhere! A flight to Europe or a motorcycle ride up to the mountains or drive to the beach, I don't care, let's just go! The list of countries I want to visit is a long one and includes Africa (safari) and New Zealand amongst others. Life is way too short and there's such a big world out there to see, and not enough time!
Having said that, I'm also a home body and love to spend time in my garden, and a night at home watching a good movie or my favorite show "House" is something I enjoy.
Family is important to me, and I have three terrific sons who are grown and living wonderful lives of their own now, and a beautiful granddaughter.
I believe I have a lot to offer the right person. I'm fun loving and caring, confident for the most part and honest to a fault.
There's way more to tell of course, as none of us reach this stage in our lives without having much that has made us who we are, but hopefully I've said enough to give an idea of myself. I live a quiet, drama free life, have made mistakes but own all of them, and am ready for the next chapter. Thanks for reading!
