I recently got out of a long distance relationship that was pretty nice, except for the long distance part! lol We are still friends but we both decided we needed somebody closer to home. So here I am checking out local possibilities! :) Haven't met anyone from here yet, but looking forward to it.

Growing up in the Midwest it is difficult to write some of this since you are taught to be humble there! lol I really am not an arrogant person (ask any of my friends), but I do have self-confidence. I have been on Maui for nine years, and love it!

I enjoy volleyball, photography, riding, travel, dancing, reading, the ocean, and so much more... I like my job, my family, my friends - life is great! I believe in carpe diem. Life is an adventure to be enjoyed!

I have a wonderful family I am still close to, even though they are in the Midwest. I enjoy being outside. I also enjoy tennis, SCUBA, hiking, snorkeling and trying new things, any ideas? I like playing guitar, dancing, reading, and writing.

I even like to slow down and watch a movie sometimes, especially if it is with someone special. Cuddle time is sweet. I am an educated, intelligent, creative, articulate, funny, passionate person who enjoys life. I am caring, considerate, romantic and thoughtful, and I am easy to talk with and get along with. I like the ocean, beaches, mountains, waterfalls, rainbows, candles, incense, music and much more. Obviously I am not at a loss for words... :) I am honest and trustworthy and... sounds like I am making a sales pitch! Oh wait... I guess I kind of am! lol

As far as what I am looking for? There are two things that are more important than any others to me - chemistry and attitude, that trumps all. Chemistry because if there isn't that click then nothing else matters. Attitude because if ours work well together I will look forward to seeing you and will enjoy just being with you. Part of the attiude thought is that you must love to laugh!

Hmmmm, IF I were to make a longer more "ideal" list?? lol How about someone who truly enjoys life, who is active, educated, creative, healthy, funny, spontaneous, happy, emotionally well-adjusted, independent, articulate, intelligent, somewhat feisty, strong (physically, mentally and emotionally), attractive, confident and fun to be with! I like sweet, caring, considerate, thoughtful people. Being open minded and adventurous and willing to try new things are all good too! Hey, this is ideal, right? ;) Someone who enjoys their work, and is close to their family is nice too.

I am not looking for drama or high maintenance, nor am I that way. I like people who are comfortable in their skin, and with who they are. I also need to be with someone who enjoys physical interactions as much as I do; from holding hands to cuddling to kissing to... well, more! And when I look into your eyes I need to see something special, since eyes are the window to your soul.

If you believe in carpe diem and joie de vivre (bonus points if you know what these mean without looking them up! lol) let's talk! :) A whale watch, or a walk on the beach, snorkeling, SCUBA diving, or...? Pretty open to ideas! :) Nothing as trite as a movie though, would want to do something where we can actually talk and get to know each other, something active and fun is nice. :)
