I wrote a lot here. I apologize if it seems like too much, but it’s all important to me, and believe in being thorough. I spent a lot of time deciding exactly what to say. I figure the more you know about potential matches online, the better.

-About me-

My name is Craig. I'm originally from Massachusetts, then went to Florida Tech where I majored in aviation. Now I'm a commercial pilot and flight instructor. Like many careers, there aren't too many opportunities for pilots these days, so for now I'm working as a dispatcher for private jets in Greenwich, CT. I'm still hoping to get back into flying once things pick up.

I don't have TOO much experience in the relationship department. I've only had two serious ones, both of which were in Florida. Actually never had a relationship in New England.

I enjoy theatre acting, especially comedies. That's because I commonly go out of my way to crack jokes to brighten people up and make them laugh. I've actually been in a show written by the South Park guys, which was an unbelievable experience.

I consider myself a fun guy, but I also know when to be sincere and genuine.

I can be a bit of a nerd at times (huge Tolkien fan, enjoy Star Wars, play video games, etc.), so it helps if you are too. You don't necessarily have to be, you just have to be ok with it.

Movies: I’m a movie buff. I like pretty much all genres, except I’m not into most horror movies unless they’re very well done, which you don’t see much these days.

Music: Classic rock is where it’s at. I can’t stand hip-hop, rap, or techno.

Outdoor activities: I love skiing, which I really missed when I lived in Florida. I used to do quite a lot of camping and boating in my younger days. I’d love to get into it again someday, especially if I find someone who wants to get into it with me.

Sports: I love watching the Patriots. I’ll watch the Red Sox occasionally, but I can’t understand people who can watch every game, there’s WAY too many per year.

-What I’m looking for-

I like girls that are warm and caring, and also affectionate: physically, verbally, and emotionally. I'm a guy that likes to cuddle. No, you aren't imagining this.

She should of course be intelligent and have some depth to her personality, and enjoy conversations about either serious stuff or fun stuff.

Along with that she should have a good sense of humor, and be able to laugh at stupid humor, as well as humor that's intelligent but crude (think South Park, Family Guy, etc.), and at least pretend to laugh at my frequent attempts at humor, because I love to make people laugh.

I want to spend plenty of quality time together, both by ourselves and in public. Spending time apart with friends is fine, but the key is to find a healthy balance.

I like a girl who doesn’t feel the need to wear make-up, jewelry, and nice clothes all the time. Special occasions are fine, but I like the type of girl who’s comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt.

I believe honesty is very important in a relationship. I'm a completely honest guy, and I expect the same in return. Getting everything out is the first step towards fixing the problem. You know how when some relationships end, you find out all sorts of things the person was lying about? I've been through that twice, and that's enough.

I definitely want a girl who’s capable of being with me in both good times and bad. In both of my relationships, I was told “you treat me so much better than any of my previous boyfriends.” I was always there for them in their bad times, and helped each realize that they can have a boyfriend that treats them like an equal. But then when the tables turned and I needed them there for me in my bad time, they weren’t there. The second wasn’t so bad, the first was terrible. It’s times like that when you learn the true nature of someone.
