Where to start...I am looking for someone who, like me, sees the glass half full (actually, most days, mine is overflowing)...someone who enjoys life whether that means a spur of the moment trip out of town, dancing the night away, an evening at home with friends or simply sharing a bottle of wine in front of the fireplace.

I am a cancer survivor (diagnosed July 2007) and if there is one thing that experience reinforced for me, it's that each day is special...no need to sweat the small stuff. Burnt toast? Buy another loaf.

I am divorced. My divorce was final in 1998...no baggage here. Although I don't have my own children, I am the proud auntie to 3 nephews and 1 niece (and a niece dog!). My family and friends mean the world to me. I can't believe how lucky I am to have such amazing people in my life!

I believe the keys to a lasting relationship are honesty, loyalty, good communication and knock your socks off chemistry (remember kissing for hours in high school??).

I am hoping to find a man who knows what he wants and is able to articulate that. I want someone whom I can count on...the first person I would call when things go bad...someone who has my back...

I appreciate a man who was raised to be a gentleman...opens doors, brings flowers, and doesn't mind waiting for a girl who sometimes takes awhile to get ready for a date (the make-up, the dresses, the 3 inch heels...these things can't be rushed!) I am into holding hands, kissing...and throwing my arms around my guy just because...

I enjoy wine tasting, reading, blue cheese stuffed olive dirty martinis (the naughtier the better), cooking, travel (traveled through Europe, Russia, Thailand and Guatamala), playing tennis, golf, motorcycle rides (on the back of a Harley), L.A. Kings, boating/fishing, playing the piano, and watching UCLA sports (I'm a UCLA grad...Go Bruins!), and entertaining at home. I participated in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer this past September in Long Beach and will walk it again next September in Santa Barbara.

I read the following once on another profile..."love with reckless abandon"...that sounds about right.
