Please read my profession above. I am a pastor of a Baptist church that averages between 200 and 250 on Sunday mornings. That may scare some of you off quickly. No offense taken if it does and I sincerely wish you the best in finding who is right for you.

I like to do just about anything that has to do with being outdoors. I like to hunt, fish, canoe, swim, ride 4 wheelers, and other things. I also play music, write songs and sing.

I am honest and open and have a crazy and even wicked sense of humor but know when to be serious. I like most all kinds of music. I own a home just out of L.R. in Saline County. I do my share of dressing up but I am most comfortable in a pair of jeans. I'm looking for someone who enjoys some of life's luxuries but who isn't materially minded and understands what life is really about.

One word to describe myself- PASSIONATE. I work hard and I play hard. I usually put all that I am into whatever I am doing.

I've been divorced since Feb 2006 but I haven't given up on love. I didn't cause or want my divorce but here I am nonetheless. Having said that, I'm not settling for just anything. I am looking forward to the day that I know "til death do we part" means something to the other person too. I just found this quote from "When Harry met Sally" that I really like. It says, "When you finally meet the person you're supposed to spend the rest of your life with; you just can't wait for the rest of your life to begin". I am not desperate. I have a good life. I do desperately want to find the person that I can't live without instead of just someone I can live with.

I'm a grandpa now and loving it. (A 6 month old granddaughter) Grandbabies will steal your heart very quickly. I only have one child and she is married and self-sufficient.

I would take the right woman out to a nice restaurant where we could enjoy good food and equally good conversation. From there it could be anything from a nice walk in a park with more conversation to dancing or some other activity if we both agree. I am capable of planning a nice date but am open to suggestions based on the woman's interests and likes.
