Lets see.. my most pressing goal right now is to SLOW DOWN, simplify my life a little... make more time for my most awesomely amazing, wonderful, loving terrificly fantastic, without a doubt a truely one-of-a-kind (strange..?) family...the kids(Maya&Ethan, the brightest, shiniest part of my existence. I cant even type that without beaming proudly), Gramma(the BEST. ever. period), Grampa, no doubtedly looking down on me(over his glasses) shaking his head muttering "dammit ray!" **miss ya grampa** Mom(advisor, swift-kick-in-the-ass giver, close friend, bodygaurd hehe) Brothers,uncles, aunts, cousins, pain in the ass nieces and nephews...,hehe, MUCH MUCH love for The Family ...yeah ok so i like em a little..
OK... Me.. i work my ass off, @ local bowling alley nights/weekends, install underground cable few days a week, construction work, anything and everything and whatever else is paying at the time!.. i'm very mechanically minded, kind of a "fix it,"build it", "make a new one", "improve it" guy. a "professional" jack of trades(is there such a thing? if there is, i'm that...heehee) I'm willing to tackle just about anything.. I love my job at the alley, and have come to(or been forced to,lol)love the game.sport.game.(sport?) So much, in fact, that i had a job interview today(3/22) at ANOTHER alley in a neighboring town! I must be nuckin futs...lol..
I was born in San Diego, was transplanted here to MO as a kid... went back and forth many many times before i realized that THIS is the place, The place. I'm not a redneck(lol), dont wear the boots and the hat.. no skoal ring..(sorry)lol but i do sincerely love it here in the sticks. i could be what you might call -psuedo- or -quasi-redneck... lol ..some of it was BOUND to rub off on me... hehe
...yeah so i'm slowing down.. Near future plans include moving out to the ol family farm(on 20 acres, not really a"farm" farm, more like "kinda-hobbyish type farm" farm. lol Over the good, bad, struggled,enlightened,forgiving, harsh years(yes, 1 year can be all those things at once.. and any of those could last years...).i've learned what's TRUELY important to me on this earth... the really REAL things.. making faces at each other in the mirror as i (attempt to)tame my son's wicked bed head, until niether one of us can stop the insane giggling... the 1 hair that I ALWAYS get in my mouth as I kiss them goodnight(it always makes me smile) ..looking across the dinner table(or breakfast, or lunch, or all of the above!) at the one(s) you love, getting that look that you FEEL in your heart when you see the SAME love in their eyes.. you know, the important, really real stuff!! ...literally watching kids learn and grow in front of your very eyes.. a gentle touch on your back first thing in the morning.. watchin the birds chase each other around the feeder, the evening sky from the back porch..
Everyday things that make real happiness..everyday! i'm slowin down to savor every last bit of it..
Been in 2 long term serious relationships in my life, the first brought my Maya and Ethan to me, and it was worth every miserable second of those 8 years(we were together very young, highschool).. the latter just destroyed me. Broken. luckily i'm pretty handy and patched me back up (mostly)
I guess what i'm looking for is someone who kinda gets what i'm pouring out on here...
I have no dreams of being president, no concerns about how old my car is(i keep em runnin), i don't care if bank of america(owned by saudi prince, btw) falls in on itself..(not at all prejudice.. just sayin..wtf??) i guess what i mean is, some people want shiny car, fancy career title, brand new clothes every week, gold and silver.... i want happy family. true, real. simple, easy, slow, enjoyable, loving and comfortable. for the rest of my days.

oh yeah.. i love to cook(i kick ass in the kitchen!)play chess, drink a few Rollin Rocks , tinker with things, i like to spend ALL DAY in my PJ's, just once in a while!

I listen to ALL kinds of music, i seem to identify with and relate to many different styles of composition, mostly mood driven i suppose..( if ya wanna know, just ask. WAY too much to list)
I LOVE to dance and sing, although i'm not real good at either one(i'm a wicked 2 stepper tho lol)
I love to make music, a drummer at heart. if i can bang on it with sticks, pencils, lighters, fingers, hands, elbows(?) i will. and make sweet beautiful music.(to me, anyway lol)
i like to go out walking around in the woods, just because.. really enjoy all the waterways in the summer, canoeing and campin etc etc... i camp the real way tho.. in a freakin tent. I mean, c'mon! its camping! they call it roughing it for a reason!! do you really need satallite tv and air conditioning to go to the lake?? hello!! whoops! sorry.. almost let a little rant slip out there..

I love to cook..i dont know if a dinner date at home is ideal for a first date, but it suites me.. and if you weren't "swept off your feet", at least you'd only be out the gas money to come over lol and still get a free(very very yummy) meal out of the deal.. :)
