if you can hold up your end of a conversation re: art vs. pulp; personal vs. political; sex vs. seclusion; risk vs. negotiation; death vs. creation; intrigue vs. subversion; indie vs. pop; organic vs. derivative; literature vs. entertainment television; cinema vs. the b-movie; the internet vs. the illusion of privacy; post modernity vs. solidarity; theory vs. practice; wheel of fortune vs. jeopardy; and the pervasive, overwrought & pernicious need to dichotomize everything in modern society ... then we've got something in common. ;)

i'm a make-time artist, activist, writer, actor, educator, bohemian expat, non-profit super-stud, pseudo-social worker, would-be grad student and professional homosexual ... clearly, there aren't enough hours in the day, but i would like someone to cuddle up to at the end of it, nonetheless.

* among other things, i'm a writer - academic, freelance journalism, creative non-fiction, fiction, plays, poetry - who can sometimes go for a year [ germinating ] without putting pen to paper.

* i am loved by dogs, cats & children ... therefore my soul is pure. ;)

* i'm a scorpio who'd normally rather make out than put out.

* i have a brain. this is not a fault.

* i've been told i can be intimidating and overly forward but at heart i'm ridiculously shy.

* yes, ridiculously shy people are sometimes seen on stage in nothing but their underwear ... or less.
