I am a native Washingtonian (51 years in Spokane, 4 in Kirkland/Bellevue) having moved to the Phoenix area over six years ago following retirement from teaching. I still work part-time as a realtor and a math consultant for a textbook publisher and like to stay active. My interests include most spectator sports (especially football), snow skiing, snowmobiling, water skiing, boating, golfing, camping, horseback riding, traveling, wine tasting, etc. I am very much a people person and enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I am also compassionate, honest, trustworthy and treat others as I want to be treated. I am a true romantic who gets more enjoyment out of giving, especially surprises, than receiving. I have become a country music fan since moving to the Southwest but still enjoy the music of the 50's and 60's. Sincerity, truthfulness and honesty are requirements in a person I am looking for. He has to love to laugh, have fun, keep up with me and love children. Most of all he accepts me for who I am as I accept him. We're not out to change each other. Life is getting shorter all the time and I am looking for someone who wants to take the journey to the end of the road together and enjoy every minute.

That would depend on who the date is with. We would come up with something we are both comfortable with, possibly a drink on a patio with a view in a public setting, where we could feel that if it isn't working we could walk away knowing we met someone new.
